When the skin begins to sweat at approx. 42°C and a high degree of humidity, your metabolism really starts working. The purifying effect strengthens the body’s defences, your skin becomes more tender and softer. The term Sauna comes from the Finnish language and means Room of Wood. The sauna is a contrast bath, during which the body is slowly heated up at 85 – 105° C and a humidity of 5 – 11%.
